who even are we?

Hello! We’re Arabela Espinoza and Elle Mitchell.

We are a photographer and art director team working out of our studio in San Jose, CA. You can find all of our work at @weekendcreative.

In the summer of 2019, Elle hosted Anna McNaught for Adobe Live on an abnormally hot day in San Francisco. After the stream, all three of us went to co-work together at a coffee shop where our conversation turned to the ups and downs of freelancing. As we swapped stories about crazy client experiences, we joked that we should get tipsy on cocktails and put these stories out into the world. That was the moment that Per Our Last Email was born.

We started this podcast because we know first hand how hard it can be to be a freelancer. Our hope is that the stories we share and the guests that we interview will serve as a reminder that you are not alone in this crazy entrepreneur life.
